Yo!Walk Privacy Policy

1. About this Policy

Mini Go Studio ("we," "us," or "our") operates Yo!Walk (the "App"). This Privacy Policy explains how information is handled when you use the App or contact us. Mini Go Studio is the studio name under which we operate the App.

Yo!Walk is a free, advertising-supported walking and activity app for adults aged 18 and over. No account or login is required. The App provides step tracking, walking and running records, route maps, goals, challenges, milestones, and related wellness content. The current version has no subscriptions, in-app purchases, cash rewards, or withdrawals.

Your activity records are stored on your device. This does not mean that the App operates entirely offline or that no information leaves your device: advertising, analytics, diagnostics, and map services process the information described below.

2. Activity and Profile Information Stored on Your Device

The App locally processes and stores:

We use this information to provide the corresponding features and calculate your progress. We do not operate an account system, upload these records to a Mini Go Studio server, or provide cloud synchronization or cloud recovery for them. These records are not included in the App's automatic cloud backup or device-transfer backup.

We do not send your step records, workout history, recorded routes, or local profile information to advertising or analytics services as event parameters, user properties, or diagnostic attachments. We do not use health or fitness information to target advertisements or build advertising profiles. Map-service processing, your own exports, and information you voluntarily send to support are separate and are described below.

3. Step Sources and Permissions

Depending on device support and permissions, Yo!Walk reads steps from your device's step sensor, Google Play services' local recording functionality, or Health Connect. The App reads step information for its activity features; it does not write activity records back to Health Connect.

The App may request:

You can manage permissions in Android settings and Health Connect. Denying or withdrawing a permission may disable the related feature. Revoking access stops future access under that permission; it does not automatically erase records already stored in Yo!Walk or records held independently by Health Connect or another source.

Health Connect information is used only for the user-facing activity features you authorize, consistent with the applicable Android health permissions requirements, including their limited-use restrictions. It is not sold or used for advertising.

4. Information Processed by Third-Party Services

Advertising: Google AdMob and Vungle / Liftoff

We use Google AdMob and Vungle, also known as Liftoff Monetize, to display advertisements and support the free App. Subject to the service, configuration, device settings, and applicable privacy choices, these services may process advertising or app identifiers, IP addresses and approximate location derived from them, device and operating-system information, app interactions, ad impressions and clicks, and diagnostic information. Their purposes include ad delivery, measurement, frequency management, fraud prevention, and, where permitted, personalized advertising.

Advertising partners may process information on their own infrastructure and with their service providers or advertising partners. Their privacy notices explain their practices and choices:

Choosing non-personalized advertising does not necessarily stop all advertising-related processing. Information may still be needed to deliver ads, measure performance, or prevent fraud, subject to applicable law.

Analytics and Diagnostics: Firebase

We use Google Analytics for Firebase to understand general App usage and Firebase Crashlytics to diagnose errors and improve reliability. Analytics may process app-instance identifiers, device and app information, usage events, and approximate geographic information. Crashlytics may process installation identifiers, crash reports, stack traces, device information, and app version information. These reports are processed by Google and made available to us through its services.

These services are not a backup for your activity records. We do not attach step counts, workout coordinates, Health Connect records, or your local nickname and avatar to analytics or crash reports. See Privacy and Security in Firebase and the Google Privacy Policy.

Google Maps and Device Location Services

Yo!Walk uses Google Maps to display maps. Map requests are sent to Google, and the map area you view can relate to your location or workout. The Maps SDK also processes technical information such as IP address, device metadata, SDK identifiers, diagnostics, and certain map interactions. Locally storing your workout history does not prevent this online map processing.

Your device's location services also process location signals under your device settings and the relevant provider's terms. See the Google Privacy Policy and Maps SDK data disclosures.

5. Information You Choose to Share

If you email us, we receive your email address, message, and any attachments you choose to send. We use them to respond, troubleshoot, and handle privacy or legal requests. Please avoid sending unnecessary health details or precise routes. Our email provider processes this correspondence to deliver and store it.

If you use an available export or sharing feature, you choose the destination. Exported images may reveal your route, activity statistics, or places you visit. Files saved outside the App and copies sent to another app, person, or service are subject to that destination's controls and privacy practices.

We may disclose information we actually hold where necessary to comply with law, respond to valid legal requests, protect rights or security, or handle legal claims. This does not give us remote access to your locally stored activity records.

Where required, we obtain consent before optional advertising, analytics, tracking, or health-data processing. Permission to read steps or location is separate from consent to advertising or analytics. Simply using the App or accepting its Terms does not replace consent where the law requires it.

You can use the privacy choices presented in the App to review or change applicable advertising and analytics choices. You can also manage Android permissions and available advertising-ID controls. To withdraw consent or request help with privacy choices, contact minimaxtechteam@gmail.com. Withdrawal does not affect the lawfulness of processing before withdrawal. Disabling an advertising identifier does not by itself delete previously collected information.

Where data-protection law requires a legal basis, we rely on consent for processing that requires it; necessity to provide the features or support you request; legitimate interests in security, abuse prevention, and reliability where these are not overridden by your rights and do not require consent; and compliance with legal obligations. Where health information is subject to additional protections, we obtain explicit consent where required and limit its use to the authorized features.

7. Retention and Deletion

Local records. Activity records remain in the App's local storage until deleted through an available feature, removed by clearing the App's storage, or removed by uninstalling the App. Uninstalling or clearing storage removes the App's local step and workout history, profile, goals, and challenge records. Mini Go Studio cannot restore them. Reinstalling does not restore the former local archive, although reconnecting an external step source may import records that the source still retains.

Exported and source data. Uninstalling does not delete images saved to your gallery or another destination, copies shared with others, or step records independently held by Health Connect or another provider. Manage these separately at their source.

Support correspondence. We retain messages only as long as reasonably necessary to resolve the request, manage follow-up issues, and meet applicable legal obligations. Retention depends on the nature of the request and any applicable legal-claim or recordkeeping period.

Third-party information. Uninstalling does not automatically delete information previously processed by advertising, analytics, diagnostics, or map providers. Retention depends on the service, its settings, and its obligations. Google states that Crashlytics begins removing specified crash data and associated identifiers after 90 days; analytics retention depends on the configured property settings. Provider notices explain other retention criteria. You may contact us for help with requests relating to information processed on our behalf.

8. Your Rights

Depending on your location and applicable law, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or obtain a portable copy of personal information; restrict or object to processing; withdraw consent; and complain to a data-protection authority. Certain laws also provide rights to opt out of sale, sharing, or targeted advertising, limit qualifying uses of sensitive information, and appeal a denied request.

Advertising disclosures of identifiers and online activity may qualify as a "sale" or "sharing" under some U.S. state laws, even without a direct payment for data. Where those laws apply, you can exercise the applicable opt-out through the App's privacy choices or by emailing us with the subject "Privacy Opt-Out." We do not sell or share your locally stored health or fitness records for advertising. We honor legally required opt-out preference signals where applicable to the service and supported communication method.

Send requests to minimaxtechteam@gmail.com. We may request limited information reasonably needed to verify or locate the relevant data. Because there is no account, we may need information about the relevant installation or service; do not send identity documents unless specifically needed and requested. We cannot retrieve or remotely delete records that exist only on your device, but can explain how you can manage them locally.

We respond within the period required by applicable law and do not unlawfully discriminate against you for exercising your rights. Where permitted, an authorized agent may act for you with appropriate verification. To appeal a decision where an appeal right applies, reply to our response and request a review. You may also contact your competent regulator directly.

9. International Processing and Security

Although your activity archive stays on your device, third-party service information and support correspondence may be processed in other countries, including the United States. Privacy protections may differ between countries. Where required, transfers must use a lawful mechanism, such as an adequacy decision or contractual safeguards. Contact us for information about safeguards applicable to processing for which we are responsible; the provider notices describe their own arrangements.

We use reasonable safeguards appropriate to the information and processing involved. No storage or transmission method is completely secure. Protect access to your device and consider the location information revealed by any route you export or share.

10. Adults Only

Yo!Walk is intended only for people aged 18 or older. We do not knowingly collect information from people under 18. If you believe a person under 18 has provided information to us, contact us so we can investigate and take appropriate steps to delete information within our control. Records stored only on that person's device must be removed on the device.

11. Changes and Contact

We may update this Policy when our features or practices change. We will make the revised Policy available, update its effective date, and provide additional notice or request renewed consent where required. A new Policy does not retroactively authorize a use that required your prior consent.
