Rocket VPN Privacy Policy
Effective date: July 9, 2026
Introduction
This Privacy Policy explains how Rocket VPN for iOS and iPadOS ("Rocket VPN", the "App", or the "Services") collects, uses, stores, and shares information.
Rocket VPN is operated by Guangzhou Furun Juchuang Trading Co., Ltd. The App is published under the brand name Mini Go Studio ("we", "us", or "our"). We are committed to providing a secure VPN service while collecting only the information needed to operate, protect, support, and improve the App.
By accessing or using Rocket VPN, you acknowledge that you have read this Privacy Policy. Where required by law or platform rules, we will request your permission before collecting or using certain information, including advertising identifiers.
VPN Privacy Commitment
Rocket VPN is designed to protect your network privacy. We do not use VPN traffic for advertising, profiling, resale, or unrelated business purposes.
We do not collect, log, store, sell, use, or disclose VPN traffic contents to third parties for any purpose. This includes:
- Your browsing history, websites visited, app traffic content, or transferred data content.
- Your DNS queries or DNS query contents.
- Traffic payloads or the content of network communications.
- The VPN server IP address associated with an identifiable user.
- Precise location data derived from VPN use.
For VPN operation, our VPN servers necessarily process your IP address and network packets transiently to establish and route the VPN connection. This transient processing is used only to provide the VPN service and is not used for advertising, profiling, analytics, resale, or unrelated business purposes. We do not log, store, sell, or disclose your original IP address as part of your VPN browsing activity.
We do not inspect the content of your VPN traffic. We do not build advertising profiles from your VPN activity. We do not sell VPN usage information.
Information We May Collect
App and Device Information
To operate and improve Rocket VPN, we may process limited app and device information, such as device model, iOS or iPadOS version, app version, package identifier, language setting, network type, device identifier for vendor (IDFV), and basic diagnostic information.
Connection and Service Diagnostics
To keep the VPN service reliable, we may process limited connection diagnostics, such as connection timestamps, selected protocol, selected server or connection state, connection duration, traffic counters, error reports, crash reports, and performance metrics. These diagnostics are used to troubleshoot connection failures, improve server reliability, and prevent abuse.
These diagnostics do not include your browsing history, traffic content, DNS queries, DNS query contents, visited URLs, original IP address logs, or identifiable VPN server IP history. Where such operational diagnostics are stored on our systems, they are retained for less than 48 hours unless a longer period is necessary for security, legal, fraud prevention, or support reasons.
Local App Data
Rocket VPN may store some information locally on your device, such as app preferences, selected language, favorite servers, free usage quota, connection state, and recent connection history shown inside the App. Local data helps the App work correctly and may be removed when you delete the App or clear related settings.
Purchase and Subscription Information
If you purchase a subscription or other in-app product, payment is processed by Apple through the App Store and StoreKit. We do not receive or store your full credit card number, bank account, Apple ID password, or other complete payment credentials.
We may receive and store purchase-related information needed to provide premium access and support, such as product identifier, subscription status, purchase date, expiration date, renewal status, transaction identifier, and entitlement status.
Support Communications
If you contact us for support, we may receive your email address, message content, and any information you choose to provide. We use this information only to respond to your request, troubleshoot issues, and maintain support records.
Advertising, Tracking, and Consent
Rocket VPN may show advertisements in the free version of the App. We use Google AdMob / Google Mobile Ads SDK to request and display ads. Google may process information such as device information, advertising identifiers, approximate location, ad interactions, crash data, and diagnostics in accordance with Google's privacy practices.
Where required, Rocket VPN uses Apple's App Tracking Transparency framework before accessing the Identifier for Advertisers (IDFA) or tracking you across apps and websites owned by other companies. If you decline tracking permission, we will not access the IDFA for tracking. You may still see contextual or non-personalized ads.
Where required by applicable law, we may also ask for consent through Google's User Messaging Platform or a similar consent tool. You can manage Apple tracking permission in iOS Settings and may manage applicable ad consent choices through the App where available.
Advertising data is separate from VPN traffic data. We do not share your VPN traffic content, browsing history, DNS queries, DNS query contents, visited URLs, original IP address, or traffic payloads with advertising partners.
Third-Party Service Providers
We may use trusted third-party service providers only as needed to operate Rocket VPN, process purchases, show ads, host services, diagnose crashes, provide support, manage consent, measure app functionality, and comply with legal obligations. These providers may include:
- Apple App Store and StoreKit for in-app purchases and subscription management.
- Google AdMob / Google Mobile Ads SDK for advertising in the free version of the App.
- Google User Messaging Platform for privacy and advertising consent management.
- Firebase / Google Analytics for app analytics, app functionality measurement, and performance measurement.
- Firebase Crashlytics for crash reporting and diagnostics.
- Hosting, infrastructure, and diagnostic service providers used to operate and maintain the Services.
These providers are not permitted by us to receive or use VPN traffic data for advertising, profiling, resale, or unrelated purposes. These SDKs and providers do not receive VPN traffic contents, browsing history, DNS query contents, visited URLs, or VPN traffic payloads from Rocket VPN. Third-party providers process information according to their own privacy policies and applicable law.
You can review Google's privacy policy at https://policies.google.com/privacy and Apple's privacy policy at https://www.apple.com/legal/privacy/.
Network Diagnostics and Speed Tests
If you choose to run network diagnostics or speed tests in the App, the selected test endpoint may receive your IP address as part of a normal HTTPS network request. This is used only to perform the diagnostic or speed test and does not include VPN traffic contents, browsing history, DNS query contents, visited URLs, or traffic payloads from your VPN browsing activity.
Cookies and Website Data
The Rocket VPN App does not need website cookies to provide the VPN connection. If you visit a Rocket VPN website, cookies or similar technologies may be used to remember preferences, maintain security, analyze website performance, or provide support. You can control cookies through your browser settings.
